The MK-IMA is a small footprint, semi-automatic cartoner that can handle a wide range of applications. This application featured the MK-IMA handling three-pack cartons of snack food trays. An intermittent motion servo-driven indexing conveyor provides smooth operator loading into the buckets. The cartoner loads two (2) cartons per cycle making the system easily reach 30 cartons per minute speed.

AMI has completed the VC-VCA handling 1L and 700ml bottles at 250 ppm. The bottles come on a single lane to the cartoner, and a timing screw pitches the bottles for a racetrack-style cam loading system. The system features AMI’s innovative auto-bottom carton magazine and erector design for high-speed cartoning.

The CE-ABI has a new design that helps increase the speed of the carton former to 25 cartons per minute. The unique design of the gantry robot carton erector allows the system to erect the carton while simultaneously pushing the already erected carton onto a discharge conveyor.

AMI Systems has completed a cartoner to handle tubes of product at 100 per minute. Since the tubes had a mushroom top closure and skinny base, the cartoner had to lay down the tubes to collate more efficiently. This design ensured smooth entry into the linear servopack collating system.

The HD-CMA provides high-speed cartoning that runs at high efficiency. The system incorporates ramp-up style continuous motion buckets to minimize the number of components. The HD-CMA’s servo rotary carton feeder can reach speeds of 320 cartons per minute. The heavy-duty frame of the system ensures limited vibrations and 24/7 operation. This application featured the HD-CMA running aluminum cans at 250 cpm coming from a single lane.

AMI Systems has designed a new stick-pack cartoner to meet the demands of 500 stick-packs per minute. The system incorporates AMI’s Delta 3 Robot and a servo-driven flighted indexing conveyor to collate and group stick-packs from an upstream stick-pack machine. As a result, AMI Systems can integrate with a wide range of stick-pack machines, including a Ropak 10-lane stick-pack machine.
